We’re excited to introduce Veritus Agent, founded by Joshua March, Joey Stein, and David Schlesinger to help lenders improve conversion rates, decrease servicing costs, and increase recoveries by deploying voice agents across their operations.

Joshua is a serial entrepreneur and the former CEO of Conversocial, which became the leading platform for social media customer service before its acquisition by Verint. Joey and David are seasoned software engineering leaders who met while building core systems at Divvy Homes, the pioneering billion-dollar rent-to-own fintech.

The U.S. consumer lending market is enormous, spanning origination, servicing, and collections. In the U.S. alone, consumer credit originations total over $4 trillion annually, while outstanding loans across all categories exceed $18 trillion. The collections segment is responsible for recovering roughly $100 billion from a pool of over $400 billion in delinquent debt. These businesses are all high-touch and highly regulated, yet they remain dominated by manual, phone-based and mail-based outreach—resulting in high operational costs, poor borrower experiences, and billions in missed revenue.

Everyone in the space is talking about voice AI, but very few are deploying it effectively. Lenders and collections agencies today are forced to choose between generic AI platforms that lack regulatory rigor or vertical-specific vendors that offer turnkey solutions with no room for customization.

At Veritus, we’re combining decades of loan servicing experience with deep expertise in agentic workflows to deliver a scalable, configurable AI platform. Our agents can handle both inbound and outbound conversations while maintaining full context across voice, SMS, email, and chat; they’re regulation compliant right out of the box; and they can be tuned to match a lender’s brand, tone, and negotiation policies. Most importantly, they operate with perfect consistency—24/7.

We are licensing our platform to lenders, fintechs, servicers, and collections agencies across the entire loan servicing stack; while also getting fully licensed as a collections agency in all fifty US states and buying and collection on our own charged-off consumer debt. This hybrid model gives us exposure to both high-margin software revenue and the upside of direct collections.

Our agents are already live today, executing both first-party collections and loan origination workflows.
