Our Story

We’re Stanford-trained engineers and ex-builders from Kumo.AI (Forbes AI 50), Meta Platforms, and AWS, where we fixed 300+ production bugs and experienced firsthand how painful debugging can be in distributed systems. It was so painful that we quit our jobs to solve this problem and open-sourced it!

The Problem

Our Solution

We built TraceRoot, an agentic debugging platform that ties all your context together and helps your team get to the root cause.

• AI agents automatically summarize the issue and trace logs, spans, and GitHub context into a single execution tree. Ask the agent any question you want to debug.
• Once the issue is understood, generate GitHub issues or draft PRs directly from the platform.
• Visual trace explorer that lets you zoom into log clusters, suspicious spans, and trace paths. You can guide the agent by selecting spans or contexts to focus on.
