Trillions of dollars change hands every day in the global financial markets, but the pace of innovation is excruciatingly slow. As of 2025, you still can’t:

The Team
We met at Cambridge studying Maths in 2016, and the rest is history. Working as Quants and Engineers at Tower Research and Citadel before YC, we spent a year trying to figure out why crypto exchanges can solve all of the above, but traditional exchanges can’t. We still haven’t found a convincing answer.

Taking a leaf out of the crypto world, QFEX is listing Perpetual Futures in traditional assets, making it the first exchange to do so. Futures haven’t changed since the first standardized contract was made in 1865 to help farmers hedge their corn harvests. Now S&P500 futures trade $500 billion daily, but it still expires in time for the harvest. Why?
QFEX will save institutional traders billions of dollars in rolling costs, operational headache, and deeper liquidity from an unfragmented market - just like perps did for crypto.
