The Problem
Private market investors spend ~5 hours per deal each month managing reporting on portfolio companies (“portcos”) - adding up to 15–25 hours each month for most investors.
How it works today: a deal lead coordinates over email with portco CFOs/finance leaders to request excels/decks/memos and manually sanity check the resources they receive (e.g. were the same accounting standards used? did historical financials match what I was sent last quarter?)

Who We Are
Leeds has built, sold to, and partnered with some of the largest institutional asset managers (500B+ AUM) on their investment research and workflow solutions. Notably, he worked on Bloomberg’s knowledge graph platform, was 1st PM at Golden (acquired 2024 after 40M series B from a16z, founders fund), and led product and growth at Alchemy (backed by coatue, a16z).
Derek previously worked as an early engineer and tech lead at leading enterprise and AI companies on large data and workflow platforms like Workday, Amazon, and Kits.ai (backed by a16z). He was given a director’s level award for his work on Amazon Music’s platform serving 80 million users.
