An AI-Native Browser

Meet Meteor: a Chrome-alternative that can actually do your work for you. With agents getting better by the day (literally), we realize that it’s time to automate the boring, tedious work. We use your browser session to empower agents to act like your personal assistants (ex. book a calendar, find cheaper flights, buy clothes on amazon etc.) Some of Meteor’s features: - Chat with any page - Integrate with popular apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, Twitter etc. - Browser agent to autonomously navigate the web and perform tasks - More coming soon! We're excited to usher in a new era of browsing.

Hey everyone! 👋

We’re Pranav and Farhan – co-founders of Meteor. And we’re on a mission to kill Google Chrome.

Meteor is a browser that can do work on your behalf.

The Problem

We spend several hours each day on our browser doing boring, repetitive tasks. Sending out calendar invites, filling up repetitive forms, moving data from one website to another, creating spreadsheets etc.

Introducing Meteor

Meteor is an agentic browser – our agents can perform tasks for you.

Manually setting up calendar invites? Just ask Meteor.

Searching through dozens of websites to find the best price? Just ask Meteor.

Confused how to configure your S3 Bucket? Just ask Meteor.

Meteor is your very own personal assistant. Enhanced by your browser context.

The Journey

Pranav and Farhan met during orientation week at UW, and now we’re both dropped out of UW to build the future of browsing.

A few weeks into our batch, we decided to fork Chromium (30M+ lines of code!) and rebuild our entire product from scratch. Simply compiling an instance of Chromium takes 8+ hours and over 200GB of disk space. 3 weeks later we are excited to launch our browser!

Pranav (CEO) previously built viral projects used by over thousands of students at the UW, and raised over $100k in university funding.

Farhan (CTO) previously built an IDE for hardware design that compiles 60x faster than the industry standard.
