If you are building rockets to Mars or fusion systems, getting complex welded assemblies built to spec, on time, and on budget is mission-critical—and incredibly hard.
Outsourcing to smaller weld shops can save money, but often at the cost of quality, schedule delays, and lost traceability. Precision assemblies often arrive dirty, out of spec, or late because these shops lack the project management horsepower needed to maintain the rigor high-stakes hardware demands.
Quick reality check: Processing one drawing properly—with a detailed schedule, test plan, and QA flow—takes ~9 hours. With only a 10% win rate on bids, a small shop could spend 90 hours just to land one job. That’s not scalable when you’ve got one or two engineers.
We figured it would be awesome if we could offer the same high quality results of in-housing at the price of outsourcing a job. Our software reduces bid and scheduling time for our in-network shops by over 80%. It converts manufacturing drawings into an accurate bill of materials and a resource-loaded, high-fidelity schedule—eliminating costly errors and rework. Using these tools, our in-network fabricators can spend less time bidding and deliver more reliable results than their competitors. ‘
We handle the bids, purchase materials, and allocate jobs to shops in our network that have the right capabilities and available capacity. By owning the job end-to-end, we ensure quality and adherence to key project milestones. In-network shops benefit from smarter scheduling tools and a steady stream of work to fill their downtime.
We’re brothers—and that’s a desktop DAC (Direct Air Capture) we built together as a side project. We’ve always known we’d start a company together—it’s been part of the plan for as long as we can remember. And we’ve always said it had to be a rock ’n’ roll fueled adventure!
Our dad was a serial entrepreneur, and dinner conversations were filled with stories and lessons from his ventures. That’s just how we grew up.
Jeevs: Spent several years at SpaceX designing and building welded assemblies for launch pads in South Texas. The genesis of this idea came from the pain Jeevs experienced while sourcing parts for launch critical systems. “...why is there water in my cryogenic liquid oxygen pipe?? It’s like they’re trying to kill us!”
Vinay: Several years of experience writing software for energy grid optimization projects. Worked at Rondo Energy designing and modeling grid scale heat batteries. He has a computer science and electrical degree from Princeton University.
