Composites manufacturing is expensive and slow. We are building a non-planar manufacturing cell that can produce thermoplastic composites by continuous fiber injection. This not only allows for shorter lead times and iteration cycles, but it unlocks new possibilities for manufacturing composites. Our method can produce stronger and lighter parts by leveraging fiber anisotropy to our advantage. We are commercializing a new approach to composite manufacturing that aims to be the backbone of the next aerospace and robotics age.
