Hey! I’m Simon Kubica, CEO of Alloy. I co-founded the company with Christian Iacullo after our time working at Canva and Atlassian. We founded the company with one mission: give product leaders new superpowers.
Initially, we focused on the workflow of planning and prioritization. But with AI, we started to notice PMs could finally do the work, rather than just plan it. We completely re-oriented the company to build a dedicated tool for this new PM workflow.
The problem is that even with new AI app builder tools, PMs are struggling with off-brand prototypes. Using chat to prototype is powerful, but the outputs didn’t look anything like their existing app.
We felt that your prototypes should look like your actual product.
So starting today, they actually can.
Product leaders at top companies have signed up shockingly fast:
➤ 42% of the Forbes Cloud 100
➤ 17% of the Fortune 500
➤ Growing usage at Harvey, Hubspot, Canva, SeatGeek, Linktree, and thousands more
Today we’re launching to bring the power of Alloy to the YC community.
Alloy takes 30 seconds to set up:
We couldn’t be more excited to hear what you think!
The co-founders (Simon Kubica and Christian Iacullo) met in Sydney in 2016 through mutual friends. We were toying with the idea of starting a company at that point, but felt we still had a lot to learn from all of the tech companies springing up around us. Christian went to Canva, Simon went to Atlassian, and we spent about 5 years at each. Both companies turned out to be rocketships, building our skillsets and helping us grow through all of the talented people around us. Reflecting on our experiences in both companies, one of the clearest burning problems was how painful and fragmented planning was. So seven years later, we finally saw the opportunity to bring a product of our own into the world, starting with Index and then following up with our second product, Alloy.
We’re currently working on Alloy which is the first AI Prototyping tool for Product Management. It’s tailored to professional product teams (rather than hobbyists) and builds prototypes that look exactly like your product.
