Why?

We started building email agents because they can live within users’s inboxes in their inboxes and authenticate themselves with third-party applications. But building on top of legacy providers such as Gmail is a struggle. They

• Lack API support for creating new inboxes
• Charge monthly subscriptions per inbox
• Impose restrictive rate and sending limits
• Offer poor developer experience

These providers don’t scale with both inbox creation or volumes of emails sent/received that AI agents often face, so we’re rebuilding email infrastructure from scratch to enable this.
