Intro

I’m Aman and we’re building Mulligan, the world’s first end-to-end AI automation platform for commercial insurance brokers. It automates Quoting, Policy Comparison, Proposals, Commissions and more. We work with dozens of brokers and have helped all of them scale their businesses without adding more employees.

Problem

Selling and servicing commercial insurance is a complicated process to begin with, and the manual paperwork involved makes it difficult to scale profitably. Brokers have to spend hours reading lengthy documents, navigating ancient portals and formatting documents to fit into their internal systems.

Existing automation tools typically only address narrow workflows and do not integrate with each other, which means that automating a brokerage involves juggling multiple solutions and integrations.

Quote from one of the largest selections of commercial lines insurance carriers for Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Business Owners’, General Liability and Trucking policies. Do so with minimal data entry and largely without human intervention. This makes it easy for an agent to get a more complete view of the market, do less data entry and spend more time with their customers.

To use it, select the carriers to quote, upload any documents that contain relevant data and click “Submit’’. Mulligan then logs into and produces draft quotes in each carrier portal, ready to review, edit and bind.

Policy Checking & Comparison

Analyze quotes, binders or policies, compare across documents and identify gaps in coverage. Manually analyzing these documents used to take hours, if not days, and can now be done in minutes. This tool can be used to service existing customers, as well as to help close new ones by analyzing their existing policies and identifying areas of improvement.

Simply upload docs, view them side-by-side, chat with them and match them to checklists to identify gaps.

Proposals

Generate beautiful, branded proposals using quotes, policies and binders in minutes. These documents can be produced in Mulligan’s own design format, or using a template provided by the agency. The end result is a document whose style, content and tone showcases the agency’s professionalism and thoroughness.

Submissions

Produce clean, complete and professional submissions to send to underwriters. Upload diverse documents such as loss runs, SOVs, vehicle and driver lists, and produce easily ingestible documents with just a few clicks. These submissions help portray the customer in the best possible light, and get processed by underwriters faster since they are well organized and easy to process.

Commissions

Extract commissions from lengthy statements and transform them into a format expected by most popular Agency Management Systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, EZLynx, Veruna and more. Furthermore, review the values in the commission statement to check if there’s an underpayment from the carrier, or to reconcile the books faster.
