Problem:

There’s two types of AI being implemented in healthcare:

1. Point Solution AI Vendors
2. Cheap Outsourced Tech Consultant Solutions

Here’s why they don’t work (and as a result, why you’re not seeing AI in the doctor’s office):

1. The needs and integrations of every healthcare organization look vastly different. Did you know Epic (the #1 dominant EHR vendor) had a technical team dedicated to each hospital they integrated with? To dominate the healthcare industry, you need custom solutions.
2. Technology consulting firms do offer custom solutions, but their work isn’t built by the best technical talent. We talked to an AI lead at the biggest tech-consulting firm, and they confirmed their solutions are all outsourced. But if the software is even remotely flawed, physicians won’t adopt- especially for AI, the industry needs reliable solutions.

Solution:

That’s where Wedge comes in: we forward-deploy top engineering talent at each health organization we work with to custom build out the perfect solution for them. Once we’re done, AI products in that health institution are monitored and maintained by us forever.

Traction:
