Ruby: The 1st Autonomous AI Product Designer

AI Agent that improves your product while you sleep

We want you to meet Ruby.

tl;dr: You can assign Ruby design tasks right in slack, like optimizing a flow or creating a new page.

She clarifies requirements, researches, designs multiple options, iterates with you, and ships PRs to your codebase. She will then monitor performance and suggest future improvements.

She’s like Devin, but for Product Design work.

Problem

“Over the next decade, as new coding tools make it easier than ever to build and ship products quickly, great design is going to matter even more.” - Aaron Epstein, latest YC RFS

We agree, and good design takes a LOT of time, money, and care. Ruby can leverage your design thinking and execute against it 100x faster.

Whenever you build a flow, you can be sure Ruby will make it as good as it can be.

How ruby helps

When assigned a task, ruby works through a flow to solve the problem:

  1. Clarify: Ruby asks your team the right questions until the requirements are clear.
  2. Research: Ruby scans usage data, research docs, personas, and finds external inspo.
  3. Design & Test: Ruby generates multiple concepts that follow your brand and design system. She simulates usage and discards weak options. She will iterate until she is confident the problem is being solved.
  4. Iterate: Ruby presents her work, takes feedback, and refines. She can iterate endlessly.
  5. Ship: Opens a PR when you approve a design.
  6. Improve: Ruby will monitor your analytics and propose upgrades whenever she spots opportunities.

Why did we build this?

Our team was early in generative code & design. I’ve been shipping ai design-to-code tools since 2021, and we recently built an AI visual builder called ion.

Internally, we trained an AI that uses our visual builder itself, and taught it the design process.

It blew us away.

We named her Ruby, put her into slack, and started giving her to our customers. Her results look promising so we’re sharing her more 🙂

Our ask

Ruby is meant for fast moving startups who are serious about getting product changes in the hands of customers faster.

If you want faster experimentation and world‑class design without extra headcount, grab a slot on our calendar. We are personally onboarding the first batch of customers.
