Marketing and Growth Engineer

WarpBuild provides compute infrastructure and tools for enabling AI-powered teams to work efficiently.

We are a small team working on multiple products: WarpBuild CI (blazing fast github actions runners), Code Sandboxes for AI agents, and Helios (AI native workflow automation).

We believe the right team is the most essential ingredient in building a great company. We are looking for a Marketing and Growth Engineer to join our small and growing remote team in India, with a demonstrable track record of excellence.

The products we build are technically complex. We have an extremely open and transparent team, and iterate rapidly based on continuous user engagement.

The key indicator of success for this role is customer growth. The ideal candidate is technical, has taste, is an exceptional communicator, gets hands dirty to create content and has a strong affinity for automation.

The process is super quick and consists of 3 rounds. You'll be using your own computer, and using the language/environment with which you are most comfortable. You are encouraged to use AI tools and IDEs for the exercises. You'll be doing a screen share with video during the call. A local env for development is preferred.

The interview process is a deeper dive into technical abilities, product thinking and overall fit. For the “fit” portion, we are again looking for ownership and autonomy, but we also dig deeper into communication. This is evaluated throughout the process -- in how you communicate your approach, solutions and overall thinking.

Each interview is up to 1 hour long, with 50 minutes allocated for the technical portion, and 10 minutes for Q&A.

1. Building an app - frontend focus (60 min): This simulates a real-world day-to-day experience where you will take a problem statement and build out a tool/app/automation for solving it.
2. User focus and taste (60 min): This is a discussion about how you understand and interact with users. This will also include a design critique.
3. Marketing and growth (60min): Deep dive into best practices and tools that you’ll employ to acquire customers.

Each round is a knockout. An offer is rolled out in person over a final 30 minute conversation.
