Electrical Engineering Intern
_Location: Atlanta, GA (In-Person)_

About the Role
Reditus Space is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support the ENOS mission, our flagship effort to develop and operate reusable reentry vehicles for microgravity research and in-space manufacturing. As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems critical to spacecraft operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, analysis, and prototyping of spacecraft systems
  • Assist in development and testing of power subsystems, including solar arrays, batteries, and onboard power conversion/distribution
  • Collaborate with software and GNC engineers to integrate flight hardware and ensure system-level compatibility
  • Conduct schematic reviews and board bring-up under senior engineer guidance
  • Participate in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and environmental testing campaigns
  • Document design iterations, test results, and troubleshooting procedures

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering or related degree (e.g. Computer Engineering)
  • Strong foundations in circuit design, embedded systems, and rapid prototyping
  • Experience with ECAD tools (e.g. Altium, KiCAD) and lab instrumentation (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
  • Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, SMPS design, electrical harness design, or radiation-tolerant electronics is a plus
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
