You will be a perfect fit if you…
- Have 2+ years of backend engineering experience and a solid foundation in both Computer Science and software engineering principles. We're also open to exceptional college grads with strong intern/co-op experience.
- Are fluent in Python and TypeScript and have worked with FastAPI and/or NextJS in the past.
- Understand how databases (KV, SQL, Document based) work, when each of them should be used and how they can be optimized.
- Have previously developed, tested and scaled RESTful APIs in the past.
- Are self-motivated, like to take ownership, have low ego; desire to work on a fast-paced, intense, fun team. Passion for building a world-class engineering culture.
- Are product-focused, understanding that technology is a means to build an amazing product, not an end in itself.
- Value code quality, but are pragmatic, shipping fast when needed.
- Are excited about AI/ML applications and have previously worked in LLMs, agents, and automation
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of OOP design patterns, clean architecture, event sourcing and Test Driven Development.
- Experience with DevOps tooling: Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions and cloud platforms.
- Thorough knowledge of the Linux operating system.
About our hiring process:
- 30 minute interview with a founder to discuss your background
- If we think you are a potential fit, we will send you a take home assignment.
- One hour interview diving into your take home submission where we’ll ask you about your solution, etc.
- Final interview with the full team.
