Automated time tracking and billing for law firms.
About PointOne
PointOne is reinventing how law firms operate.
Our AI-powered timekeeper helps attorneys capture billable time automatically and provides rich insights that transform how legal work is managed. We’re a venture-backed startup (Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst) made up of engineers (Google, Applied Intuition, Stanford) and ex-attorneys. Following an excellent seed round and rapid customer adoption, we’re expanding our customer success team to keep up with demand.
Who you are
You have:
Why you should join
Growth: Work directly with founders to design and scale our sales process. You’ll gain deep exposure to legal technology, enterprise sales strategy, and the business of law while owning revenue goals and customer relationships.
Impact: You’ll be selling a product that delivers hard ROI and real adoption inside law firms. Early customers have become investors. You’ll shape how we engage firms and define our go-to-market motion.
Support: We’re committed to building a supportive culture. Our team values openness, high feedback, and continuous learning. You’ll have direct access to founders and the product team to turn customer insights into action.
What you’ll do
This is intense early-stage startup work; the person we hire is expected to step up as an owner, bring structure to ambiguity, and play a key role in forming the company’s vision and culture.
The compensation for this position is determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise. Total OTE for this role is expected to be between $180-200K. A competitive equity component will also be offered as part of the package. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as meals in office, regular team events, and more!
PointOne is automating the business of law.
Our customers range from SMBs to some of the world's largest law firms. We raised a $3.5M seed round from Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst, and other top investors. We have a small team and are 2x'ing over the next 2 months to meet massive customer demand.
Without PointOne, lawyers have to track and record all their time in 6-minute increments, then spend hours at the end of the month reviewing and editing client bills. Many lawyers describe this as the worst part of their job. Meanwhile, law firms are spending $70B/year on admin staff and legacy software to do things like data entry, filings, organizing documents, and more. We're using AI to automate these functions.
