About the role

At Menza, we’re rethinking how consumer brands use data. Right now, data is scattered, manual, and slow to act on. We’re building a platform that centralizes data, automates reporting, and proactively surfaces insights—so brands can spend less time wrangling spreadsheets and more time making decisions that move the needle.

We’re a small but mighty team, and we’re looking for a Software Development Engineer who’s excited to build with us from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Work across the stack: from designing clean, scalable APIs to crafting intuitive front-end features.
  • Solve hard, messy, and interesting technical problems around data integration, performance, and scalability.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from idea to deploy, with plenty of room to make architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with founders, customers, and teammates to ship fast, learn fast, and iterate.
  • Be “all hands on deck”—we’re early, which means you’ll wear many hats and have a direct impact on product, culture, and company direction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong coding fundamentals (language-agnostic, but we use TypeScript, Python, and SQL).
  • Curiosity and comfort with problem-solving in ambiguous situations—if something’s broken, you dive in until it’s fixed.
  • Experience (or excitement to learn) building with modern frameworks, cloud infra, and data pipelines.
  • A bias for action—you care more about solving the problem than being “perfect” on the first try.
  • Someone who thrives in an early-stage startup environment: flexible, collaborative, and not afraid to get scrappy.

Menza helps consumer brands make sense of their data. Our customers include major food, beverage, fashion, beauty, and consumer tech companies (yes, we get free samples).

Right now, their information is scattered across tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, POS systems, ads, and staffing platforms. We pull it all together in one place, automatically clean and reconcile it, and then highlight the insights that actually help brands grow revenue and run smarter.

Instead of static dashboards or slow consultants, Menza gives teams answers in real time—whether that’s spotting a dip in sales, finding wasted ad spend, or tracking product performance across channels.
