We’re looking for a Founding Robotics Software Engineer to join our core team. You’ll help architect and build the full stack that powers how robots see, think, and act. As a founding team member, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our culture and mission from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Build the core infrastructure that powers perception, planning, and control in our AI-driven robotic systems
- Design systems and interfaces between AI models, robotic hardware, and human operators, working across the stack from robot-facing services to real-time agent orchestration.
- Collaborate closely with machine learning and robotic engineers to ship production-ready systems
- Help define and shape our engineering culture, roadmap, and processes
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional robotics software engineering experience, or equivalent depth through exceptional projects/startups.
- Strong experience with Python and proven track record building production-grade systems and maintaining them at scale.
- Experience building and scaling real-time systems data pipelines or experience working and integration AI/ML models.
- Experience with robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS/ROS2), distributed systems, and real-time control.
- Comfort working across system boundaries (e.g., ML, robotics, cloud, hardware)
- High agency and bias toward action — able to move quickly with clear code and ownership
- Adaptable, execution-focused, and thrives in the fast pace and ambiguity of startup life
Compensation
- Salary: $100K - $250K
- Equity: 0.50% - 2.00%
