About Loombotic
We're reimagining how wire harnesses are manufactured. Backed by Y Combinator, we're on a mission to build the world's first fully automated wire harness factory.
Wire harnesses are the nervous systems of everything from EVs to aircraft to data centers. Despite being a $200B+ market, manufacturing is still surprisingly manual and inefficient. We're changing that through building robotics and automation.
The Role
As our founding technician, you'll be instrumental in building and operating our production systems. This is a hands-on role where you'll master wire harness assembly, operate automation equipment, and help improve our manufacturing processes.
You'll work directly with our engineering team to bring automation systems from prototype to production, providing critical feedback on what works in the real world.
What You'll Do
- Build wire harnesses - Master crimping, routing, assembly, and testing processes
- Operate automation equipment - Run and maintain robotic systems and automated machinery
- Improve processes - Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements based on hands-on experience
- Ensure quality - Perform testing and inspection to maintain high standards
- Support automation development - Provide practical feedback to engineers on new systems
- Train future technicians - Help build and document processes as we scale the team
