Galen AI is building the future of personalized healthcare. Founded by Stanford CS graduates, we're developing an AI-powered virtual assistant that acts as your personal primary care physician. By aggregating your medical records from over 50,000 health institutions, wearable data from nearly a dozen devices, lab results, and any other medical data you own, Galen AI provides tailored health insights and recommendations.

About the Role

As a founding full-stack engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping Galen AI's technical direction and product roadmap. You will own the end-to-end development of new features, from architecture to deployment.

Your Tech Stack:

• Required
  • Front-end: React, TypeScript
  • Back-end: TypeScript, Node.js, Python
  • AWS experience
• Helpful
  • Experience building for LLMs (LangChain/LangGraph)
  • Supabase
  • AWS Healthlake
  • Swift (mobile dev)

Other Requirements:

• Strong engineering principles
• Ability to develop, launch, and maintain core product features
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience & comfort working at a fast-paced, early-stage startup
• Exceptional communication skills and responsiveness, especially given that this could be a remote role
• Willing to work 6 days a week (totaling ~50 hours per week)
