Our technology is live in factories across 15 countries, helping leading manufacturers in glass, beverage, food, CPG, building materials, and wood cut downtime by up to 50%. We’ve reached an exciting inflection point — and we’re accelerating fast.

Role Summary

We are at the dawn of a global scaling phase, but our marketing to date has been founder‑led and ad‑hoc. We need a Marketing Lead to build and own our marketing engine end‑to‑end—from strategy and positioning to channel execution and automation. You’ll craft narratives that resonate with plant managers, operations leaders, and IT buyers; design demand‑generation programs that fill the top of the funnel with qualified leads; and implement the tools and processes that make marketing measurable and repeatable. This is a high‑ownership role with a clear path to Head of Marketing as the company grows.

Responsibilities

Business‑as‑Usual Marketing Operations (Own and Improve)

  • Marketing strategy & positioning: Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customer profiles (manufacturing verticals, buyer personas) and craft messaging that speaks to their pains—downtime reduction, quality assurance, safety risk reduction. Build positioning and a unified narrative that differentiates Cerrion in an increasingly crowded AI space.

  • Demand generation & campaigns: Plan and execute multi‑channel campaigns across paid search/social, email nurtures, webinars, events and trade shows to drive qualified pipeline. Run experiments to test new channels (e.g., industry newsletters, podcasts) and refine based on CAC, LTV and payback.

  • Content & storytelling: Produce and repurpose high‑impact content—case studies, demos, whitepapers, blog posts, product videos—that translate technical capabilities into business outcomes. Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to surface stories and amplify our voice.

  • Digital presence: Own our website and social media presence, ensuring our digital touchpoints reflect the brand and convert visitors. Oversee SEO/SEM, landing pages, and CRO.

  • Tools & automation: Select and implement a modern marketing stack (CRM/marketing automation, analytics, attribution) and build dashboards that track leads, funnel conversion and ROI. Use AI tools to speed up copywriting, segmentation and A/B testing.

  • Metrics & reporting: Establish KPIs (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, CAC, LTV) and report weekly and monthly to founders. Build forecasts and explain variances.

  • Sales feedback & alignment: Work hand‑in‑hand with our Sales team to monitor the quality of leads and conversions at each stage of the funnel. Regularly review feedback from demos and closed‑won/lost deals to adjust targeting, messaging and nurture flows so Marketing and Sales remain tightly aligned on what “qualified” means.

Strategic Marketing Operations (Build for Scale)

  • Brand & category creation: Work with the founders to position Cerrion as the category‑defining platform for agentic AI in manufacturing. Develop together with the founders thought leadership programs (events, podcasts, research reports) that elevate our profile and influence industry conversations.

  • Go‑to‑market alignment: Partner with Sales and Product on pricing, packaging and launch plans. Provide feedback from campaigns to refine ICP and messaging. Build a service‑level agreement (SLA) between Marketing and Sales for lead handoff and qualification.

  • Partnership & community marketing: Identify and execute co‑marketing with hardware providers, systems integrators and industry associations. Build and nurture a community of AI champions in manufacturing via online forums and local meetups.

  • Hiring & team building: Define a hiring roadmap as we scale; recruit and mentor specialists (demand gen, product marketing, events). Document processes to ensure repeatability and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–8 years in high-growth B2B SaaS or AI marketing with a track record of building demand generation engines and hands‑on execution; experience at a high‑growth startup is essential.

  • Demand gen expertise: Proven ability to plan, run and measure multi‑channel campaigns—paid search/social, email, events, webinars—with demonstrable impact on pipeline and revenue.

  • Content & storytelling: Exceptional ability to distill technical products into clear, compelling narratives. Strong writing skills and a portfolio of assets (e.g., blog posts, case studies, thought leadership).

  • Marketing automation: Experience selecting and configuring marketing tools, and using analytics to make data‑driven decisions.

  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, and leadership; able to translate market insights into product and GTM recommendations.

  • Bias for action: Ability to operate with autonomy, prioritize ruthlessly and execute quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Nice to have: Experience marketing to industrial/manufacturing audiences; familiarity with AI/ML products; knowledge of demand generation best practices such as account‑based marketing or product‑led growth.
