The Role

We’re seeking a Customer Success Manager who will operate at the intersection of strategic leadership and customer excellence, combining strategic operations and execution with relationship management, retention, and growth responsibilities.

You’ll work directly with the leadership team to drive alignment across Carma’s scaling organization while also serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to our clients and service centers. This role is designed for a highly-capable, results-driven customer success professional who can execute quickly with attention to detail, can translate strategic goals into actionable plans, and ensures our customers realize transformative value through Carma’s platform.

What You'll Do

  • Own onboarding, implementation, and go-live for fleet clients and service centers, coordinating with leadership and engineering to ensure a smooth and successful launch, a rapid subsequent uptake in utilization to reach our “success” KPIs, and high ongoing satisfaction with Carma
  • Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team, driving clarity, alignment, and execution on key initiatives
  • Partner closely with the founders and engineering team to translate customer feedback and insights into product direction
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships, ensuring our clients and partners view us as a strategic partner, not just a vendor
  • Act as a “Swiss Army Knife” for other organizational needs, flexibly adapting to our fast-paced, scaling startup

About You

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and first principles thinking
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at building structure in fast-moving, chaotic environments
  • Operate with high autonomy, proactive organization, and an ability to manage multiple complex accounts
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Be an advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) for analysis, documentation, and reporting
  • Strong command of sales and customer success automation tools (e.g., Zapier, CRM workflows, form automations) to streamline operations and enhance client experience
