About This Role
As Head of Professional Services, you’ll own the end-to-end customer implementation journey — from sales handoff to go-live. You’ll design scalable delivery frameworks, hire and develop the team, and ensure every customer achieves measurable outcomes quickly. This is a player-coach role for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-growing, early-stage environments and deeply understands accounting workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Build and lead the Professional Services function — people, processes, and metrics
- Develop repeatable onboarding and implementation frameworks for customers
- Oversee all customer projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high satisfaction
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to create seamless handoffs and feedback loops
- Establish systems and KPIs for utilization, time-to-value, and margin
- Continuously optimize delivery processes for scale and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- CPA or strong accounting background with a deep understanding of finance workflows and the tools accountants use
- 10+ years’ experience, including 3–5 years leading Professional Services or Implementation at a B2B SaaS company
- A builder at heart who loves creating structure, process, and scalable frameworks
- Skilled at balancing customer outcomes, automation, and efficiency to drive impact
- Startup-minded — strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable leading and executing
- Strong communicator who earns trust with CFOs, Controllers, and accounting teams
- Data-driven operator who uses metrics to improve delivery and team performance
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
Compensation
- Base Salary: $160,000–$200,000 depending on experience
- Performance Bonus: 30% of base salary, tied to customer outcomes and operational KPIs
