About the Role:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll strengthen Arist’s testing strategy, push boundaries with the most innovative quality tools, and raise the bar for engineering excellence.

You’ll bring structure where it’s needed and creativity where it’s missing — balancing precision with curiosity to make our platform more reliable, insightful, and enjoyable to use.

This is a remote role within the U.S (or full time contractor out of Canada)

You are:

Curious and Independent. You love exploring new tools, frameworks, and approaches. You learn fast, question assumptions, and enjoy solving complex problems from first principles.

Technical. You have strong experience testing modern web and mobile applications, from integrations to accessibility and everything in between.

Quality Owner. You own quality — observability, performance, accessibility, and security are built into how you test.

Analytical. You rely on data and observability to find root causes, measure impact, and make continuous improvements.

Collaborative. You communicate clearly, think like an engineer, and work closely with design, product, customer success, and development to deliver a great experience.

Skilled in AI Testing. You’re confident working with AI-first features, using red-teaming, synthetic data, evals, and any new techniques that emerge as the field rapidly evolves.

You will

Improve Quality Practices. Help shape Arist’s testing strategy across squads, ensuring every release is reliable, accessible, and thoughtfully built.

Learn and Innovate. Evaluate and apply new tools that strengthen quality and development flow, always aiming for real user impact.

Collaborate. Partner with engineers and designers to embed testability early and create meaningful validation at every stage.

Measure. Define and track quality metrics and turn findings into improvements.

Refine the Experience. Test for both function and feel, making sure the product is intuitive, secure, and accessible to everyone.
