We work with leading companies to help them onboard users and businesses safely and quickly — all while detecting fraud in real time. Backed by Y Combinator and Okta Ventures, AiPrise is building the identity infrastructure for the next billion users.

What You’ll Do

Be our go-to engineer for high-impact, messy, or undefined problems
Jump across the stack — from debugging flaky frontend flows to tuning database performance
Own and fix critical workflows across Python, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS
Build features fast, clean up what's broken, and make the system better than you found it
Collaborate closely with product, design, and ops to ship things that actually matter
Leave things better: refactor, write docs, automate, and unblock the rest of the team

We’re Looking For

2+ years of full stack engineering experience, preferably in a fast-moving startup
Strong in both backend (Python preferred) and frontend (React/TypeScript)
Someone who’s not afraid to dive into a new repo, debug unfamiliar code, or figure things out from scratch
Comfortable working across databases, APIs, browser consoles, and cloud infra
Bias for action — you get things done without waiting for perfect specs
Bonus: Experience with Flask, Tailwind, Docker, AWS
